Start with the right material list.
Site procurement starts with the engineer's material schedule. Beams, channels, angles and plates need their full section or dimension specification; a similar-looking profile is not necessarily an acceptable substitute. Include your approved-make restrictions so the quotation can be prepared against the actual project requirement.
Plan before you order
Delivery is part of the requirement, not an afterthought. Give the site PIN code, unloading arrangements, access restrictions and required date. Split quantities into phases when a single bulk delivery cannot be accommodated at the site.
