Start with the right material list.
An industrial RFQ should make it possible to compare like with like. Alongside size and quantity, specify the material grade, required manufacturer, finish, certificate requirements and delivery destination. If your purchase process requires an approved vendor or a particular document, mention it before requesting a quotation.
Plan before you order
Avoid mixing estimated and firm quantities without marking them. Where a delivery schedule spans multiple dates, show the release quantities and whether partial supply is acceptable. Commercial terms, material availability and freight are confirmed in the quotation, not assumed from a catalogue page.
